05/05/1942the japanese 4th fleet launch an airstrike to the base at port darwin.
the 8th marines suffer minimal losses.

05/10/1942
the japanese 14th fleet lead by admiral inoue have been sighted steaming towards port darwin base, the us 4th fleet under admiral kinkaid gave chase and manage to engage them in a gun battle, with the battleship pennsylvania and oklahoma, the japanese fleet is out gunned but it doesnt mean they are an easy target. using the range advantage, oklahoma and pennsylvania pour shells to the japanese fleet... fearing they might escaped, kinkaid sent his destroyers and the cruiser raleigh and detroit to intercept the 14th japanese fleet. detroit and cushing manage to sink 2 furutaka class heavy cruiser while raleigh manage to sink the light cruiser tenryu who recieved shell fire from the us battleship earlier in the engagement. raleigh manage to sunk another light cruiser with his torpedoes. an aoba class also sunk after recieving two shell fire from oklahoma and pennsylvania.
the last aoba class were sunk by kinkaids destroyers taking its admiral inoue with them

the port darwin base also recieved shelling from a unknown fleet that manage to slip kinkaid's patrol.
and manage to land an invading forces the japanese 6th marines.

Fletchers 13th fleet have send a squadron to assist the defense of port darwin, causing massive loss to the invading japanese forces. by the end of the day, the port darwin defenders manage to wipe them out.
05/14/1942
fletchers 13th fleet were spotted by the wekwak airforce, they send a squadron but failed to cause any damage.
05/16/1942
the US 5th and 8th fleet have been merged.
05/18/1942
the us 6th fleet spotted the japanese 10th fleet compose of 2 cruisers and 3 destroyers, the target is unknown.
Halsey 6th fleet launch an airstrike to stop the japanese 10th fleet from its mission.
port moresby also launch an airstrike to the japanese fleet. causing serious damage to the cruiser myoko
Halseys assualt cause the sinking of several transports of the japanese 10the fleet.

port moresby launch an air strike to the spotted japanese 6th fleet, causing minimal damages to its ships.
e santo airforces engage the squadron escort of the japanese 3rd fleet.

port moresby attack on the japanese 6th fleet manage to seriously damage a takao class cruiser... it sunk afterwards due to the damages incurred.

Reports have beeen recieved that a japanese fleet have attack the auckland base, no casualty have been reported by the base incurred damages.
06/05/1942
the japanese 11th fleet have been spotted at celebes sea, the US 7th fleet engage it for it has the speed to intercept the steaming japanese fleet.
with experience sailors and range advantage, the cruiser northampton, chester and boise hammer the japanese 11th fleet and its destoyer manage to send several torpedoes to insure hat the entire ship will rest in the bottom of the sea.
they lost all ships along with their commander, admiral nishimura.
but the 7th fleet lost the destroyer monssen when it was hit by a torpedo fired by a shiratsuyo class destroyer.

the japanese 8th fleet have made a bold strike, tring to land an invasion force to port darwin australian base. if they captured the base, it will severe the supply route to the entirity of the indonesian archipelago bases, including singapore.
the us 6th marines tried to defend port darwin, but the japanese 4th marines were successfully landed.
061/16/1942the japanese have conducted another raid to the port darwin base, the us 7th fleet is in th area and the english 18th fleet.
due to rain that is why the us forces could not find the enemy fleet.

the 6th marines have suffered a huge loss from the japanese 4th marines and the shelling of the still undetected 8th fleet, they were relieved by the 7th and 3rd marines.

he invading forces have been weaken severely, the japanese will be wiped out in matter of days.

auckland have been captured by the us 2nd fleet.
