Battle of Manila Coast

02/14/1942
under the leadership of Admiral Montgomery of the 11th fleet, they engaged the Japanese 13th fleet led by Admiral Tanaka. The 11th fleet manage to destroy the battered fleet after if landed a single division unto the coast of manila. the engagement taken out 1 light cruiser and 6 destroyers, the 11th suffered 2 casualties, the cruiser Marblehead and the destroyer JD Edwards.

the combined strikeforce of the Manila base fleet have found the Japanese 3rd fleet, these is the primary carrier fleet of the japs. it is imperative to cripple, if not destroy this fleet to turn the tide of battle and pro long the struggle of the manila base fighters. the submarine seawolf, shark, stingray and perch would be assisting in the battle...
the 7th fleet have been also sighted near the Leyte coast, the target is probably Manila...

the combined strikeforce manage to engage the 3rd fleet, leaving only a single carrier still afloat. most ship were sunk by the 11th fleet and the 7th fleet... the Kaga sunk with multiple damages from both is portside and starboardside... the akagi cass sunk while still inflames... it is fortunate that the Manila Airforce manage to engage the japanese 3rd fleet AF, giving air cover to the US fleets.

unfortunate report have been recieved that a japanese fleet manage to slip the taskforce, managing to shell the manila base... the fleet is consist of battleships.

Wainwrights 3rd division is taking a beating, with the japanese 7th and 5th fleet both hammering the entreched defenders of the philippine base.
the Manila strike force is regrouping after the battle with the 3rd fleet... but it is imperative that they locate the 7th and 5th japanese fleet, regardless if they are outgunned.

the 10th fleet under admiral clark have engage the jap 5th fleet, regardless if they are outgunned due to the precense of the 2 battleship under the kongo class. they manage to sunk 2 destroyers and seriously damaging the a tone class cruiser and slightly damaging the 2 battleships. the 10th lost all ship except for the light cruiser... the submarine perch and seawolf also engage the japanese fleet, both were sunk...
manila have been captured by the japanese, the philippine combined fleet will be reorganized and will be stationed to the singapore base, the nearest allied base in the south east.
